new york city wedding.

if you've been following byrdie, you know that i moonlight as a wedding planner and that i coordinated a wedding in NYC (at the Habonim synagogue on the Upper West Side) in august. it was a Jewish wedding ... a first for me and for the bride (she converted for her husband) ! so, it was interesting and kept me on my toes. and, there was no rehearsal so that made the big day a bit hectic with lots of running around and last minute decisions. the nonstop rain put a damper on the photos which had to be taken inside instead of nearby Central Park which was a bummer. but the end result was great, it was a really fun and successful wedding.

below are some select shots from the talented photographer of sam&gertie photography ...

they had a travel theme with some really cute details like the mini airplane favors, the boarding pass invites and the map seating chart (which was a crafty DIY).

dina (the photog) was great (see her website here). below are some photos from their adorable engagement shoot ...

check out the entire shoot here.

the bride and groom were such a pleasure to work with - such nice, fun people. i wish them nothing but the best as newly weds!

if you know of anyone in need of a planner and/or coordinator, feel free to keep me in mind :) - bryn.sanders@gmail.com.

p.s. my bf's aunt is an amazing wedding planner- Annette Babich Events - and she's been nominated for Social Event Planner of the Year, vote for her here (you can vote once a day)!

p.p.s. ladybird loves will be next week ... stay tuned.
