if you follow me on instagram, you know i've pretty much been living in cut-offs. they've become part of my summer uniform paired with a slouchy tank or tshirt and birkenstocks. easy, simple and comfortable.
this was in back april . . . my first real trip to coney island (my first non-real trip was when i ran the brooklyn half marathon years ago and it ended on the boardwalk). we rode our bikes there on a perfect spring day, got beers on the boardwalk, people watched and rode the cyclone roller-coaster. the perfect coney island day. i wore my awesome nike poncho that i could totally live in and of course my nike frees (similar). if you've never been to coney island, i suggest putting on your to-do list.
it's june! i love summer. warm weather, longer days, more stuff to do, a new style .... my inspiration for summer dressing is very simple and very ..... white. white is completely classic - it never goes out of style. and it's cool and breezy for the hot and humid summers we get in nyc. with some denim, grey and black mixed in, i'll be ready for brunches, bike rides, outdoor dinners and hanging at the park.
